PURPOSE
The
organized unit of UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women
whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole
persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive
fellowship; and to expand concepts of missions through participation in
the global ministries of the church.
OUR PLEDGE
OUR
PRAYERS that we may experience growth and renewal in our relationship to God
and to our sisters and brothers.
OUR
TIME that we may respond to human needs through study, action, and
reflection.
OUR
GIFTS through United Methodist Women that we may share in global ministries
of the church.

PLANS FOR THE
NEW YEAR - 2007
The
HUMW will be meeting on a quarterly basis in 2007.
Our scheduled meeting dates are as follows:

The
meeting time is scheduled for
Noon
so we may enjoy
a group luncheon at each meeting prior to the program. A telephone/e-mail
committee has been formed so all the women of HUMC will be receiving an
invitation to join us.
We
have also scheduled a special Christmas Luncheon on
December 10,
2007
